File-sharing service LimeWire was just shut down last October by a federal judge, and not they are warning people or applications to not use its name. They published a notice on their website saying "We have very recently become aware of unauthorized applications on the Internet purporting to use the LimeWire name. We demand that all persons using the LimeWire software, name, or trademark in order to upload or download copyrighted works in any manner cease and desist from doing so. We further remind you that the unauthorized uploading and downloading of copyrighted works is illegal."
As if they did not know that copyrighted files are uploaded and downloaded using their software. They was one of the world's biggest in file sharing services. They let users share music, movies and TV shows for free over the Internet.
