Miley Cyrus turns diva on 'Hannah Montana' set

There's only room for one star on the set of "Hannah Montana" - and that would be Miley Cyrus, duh! The teen sensation is exhibiting diva-like behavior on the set of her Disney series, according to reports, and co-stars Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso - who play Hannah's BFFs on the show - are said to be feeling the burn.

PHOTOS: MILEY'S GOT THE LOOK"Things are so chilly between Emily and Miley, icicles form every time they have to speak to one another," a production staffer told the Chicago Sun-Times. "It's become increasingly clear Miley has become jealous of Emily's rising profile and popularity.
" And Miley's not the only one mouthing off: dad Billy Ray was overheard "severely dissing" Disney execs who'd rather keep his baby girl from expanding her horizons into more mature fare. RELATED STORY: MILEY OPENS UP ABOUT NICK JONASRumors have swirled that Miley is preparing to bolt from her star-making role on "Hannah Montana" after this season, the show's third. Last week it was announced that the young star is working with bestselling author Nicholas Sparks on an unnamed film project."We're thinking it's the last season [for "Hannah"]," Cyrus, 15, told E! News this summer. RELATED STORY: GOODBYE TO 'HANNAH'?Disney poo-poohed the diva rumors, saying taping for Season Three is going off without a hitch, and that additional episodes have been added "with full cooperation from Miley, who is very excited about this new season." Despite Cyrus' wavering, "Hannah" still dominates Disney's lineup. The show is optioned for a fourth season, and a big-screen feature is set for release in April 2009.

Miley Cyrus' sweet 16 birthday bash at Disneyland

A puppy, a couture gown and a birthday party at Disneyland?

Miley Cyrus’ 16th birthday gave new meaning to the word "schweeeeeet."

Although she doesn't actually turn 16 until Nov. 23, the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim closed Sunday night for the "Hannah Montana" star's major life event. The party included a four-song performance by the pubescent pop star and a breathtaking fireworks show high above Sleeping Beauty's Castle! An estimated 5,000 people (it cost $250 a ticket) attended the bash and walked the purple carpet, and yes, that's Cyrus' favorite color.

Talking to press, the "Hannah Montana" star bragged that her parents also bought her a new puppy for her birthday. No word on what kind.

News was released before the party that Miley would wear a couture gown from Elie Saab’s spring/summer 2008 collection. Couture gowns are beyond the realm of most teenagers, as they range from $50,00-$200,000. According to Marilyn Heston Associates, Saab's rep, Miley's was made of tulle and encrusted in silver sequins.

Cyrus' father, Billy Ray, opened the concert for his daughter with a few of his own tunes, including "Achy Breaky Heart." To perform, Miley changed into a white ruffled skirt and jersey-like vest with "Sweet 16" on the back. All evening long, her guests and their families, including stars such as Steve Carell, Cindy Crawford, Tyra Banks and Jennifer Love Hewitt, rode rides such as Big Thunder Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean. David Archuleta and his entourage rode Space Mountain. Jennie Garth and her family ducked out before the fireworks display. Celebs, by the way, do not have to pay the party entrance fee. But they do get caught in limo-lock.
